With more than 20 years’ experience in the financial advice sector, James specialises in supporting both corporate and private clients. He’s passionate about helping his clients achieve their life goals, and believes sound financial planning is the foundation of a successful financial future.
His day-to-day work focuses on helping clients reach their financial and lifestyle ambitions through tailored planning solutions and regular reviews.
James supports a wide range of clients – from business owners to senior professionals – providing guidance at every stage of life, from building and protecting wealth to enjoying it in retirement. Succession planning and intergenerational planning are often high priorities.
He’s proud to work alongside a talented and motivated team who share his dedication to delivering exceptional service and genuine client care.
At home
James lives with his wife, a head teacher, and their two secondary school-aged children.
A keen sports enthusiast, he spends much of his free time supporting his son’s football team, proudly sponsored by Ernest Grant. He’s also a big cricket fan – there’s nothing better than a day at the Test with friends – and he follows rugby union closely, particularly international fixtures and the Lions tours.
When he’s not watching sport, James enjoys cooking and trying new foods, as well as getting outdoors with his family, whether walking, cycling, or running. Having completed five marathons, he’s not ruling out a sixth… just yet.
